Today was a day of excitement for me.  With only 2 levels left to go till I reached level 26 I was anticipating the joy of running around Lugien citadel throwing buffs and anything that moved.  Oh yeah, 26 is the level that I become a true 3 school staffer, or clubber depending on who you talk to.

The first level went by quickly as I was almost there already, so that left 1 last level....and 500k exp! Doh! Oh well, time to get working.  I was about to join a friend (a kind old, old, old friend who hooked me up with my hq ingot) in teth to do some powerleveling, but as soon as I finally found a ride to teth it turns out that he logs without reason.  Guess something came up..you know, invasion from aliens, hair appointment..you know..guy things.  So I went back to lugien citadel to lick my wounds and finish up that level.

It's crazy how much more confident I am in there now, compared to just a few levels ago, or even the night before!  Try taking an entire spring break to make a character.  You'll be surprised by yourself daily!  The sparking stone that now adorned my atlan sure helped.  But anyway, I got the level and instantly groaned!  A whole new set of spells to learn!  Oh, woe is me.  Why can't I be happy with a sword slinger who only uses item to portal and true value things he is too...hmm what is the word...ignorant?...to identity.  Oh, ignorance is bliss!  But alas, I have a reason to celebrate, it seems I have a fanclub.

My fall from grace...ie, loss of the original Jiriki, has been highly publicized over this last week, and much has been said about it, or because of it.  People asked if I was mad at my loss.  Of course I'm not happy, or at least I shouldn't be, but there is a part of me that is so excited about what kind of challenge this is going to be.  It seems others have risen to this challenge and embarked on new careers.

Oh, back to the fanclub.

I often feel self conscious talking to TSC folk due to the fact that I'm still unassociated, but it seems that my reputations proceeds me...for better or worse.  (boy don't i get to the point quick!).  Well standing around the tou tou tavern someone asked where was a good place for a level 4 mage to hunt.  After talking to him for a second he told me that even though he was not a member, that his main was TSC and that he recognized me and was a bit inspired by my ordeal to try his hand at this rejuvenating process called 're-roll'.

After some time of talking and looking his character over (i have played several mages and am at least slightly familiar with normal pitfalls), I suggested the unthinkable.  Start over and let go of all that work it took him to get to level 4.  Well least to say, he found my argument reasonable and decided to do so.  So we have a lime gol hunting 'date' tomorrow and it should be quite nice with a few creature buffs to reduce the gols intolerable magic resistance.

So after i finally get a few spells under my belt I venture into the Lugien Citadel to see if I can fulfill my good for the day.  Buff her, buff there, vuln here, imperil everywhere!  It took me back to the days of my ogmage on Solclaim.  In the end I meet up with a wonderful character who happened to be trying his hand out at a 3school UA, very similar to my Jiriki design.  Well to say the least we both racked up a good deal of vitae.  Obie rocks hit hard when you are holding a wand!  But by the end I had made a pittance of experience, as all I did was heal and vuln, but we had a blast and our adventures took us late into the night.  So here I am, 4:45 in the morning and I get this crazy idea to update my webpage with a little diary.

Do I intend on doing this again? Maybe.  Do I plan on them all being this long...I sure hope not!

Well, this is my 2p, and take it for what it's worth.  Its been a great week for Jiriki and I couldn't have done it without some great help from some great friends, old and new.   A special thanx for all those who had faith that I could pull off such a recovery!

Until I write again
